Just watched an episode of Knight Rider...
Haven't seen one in years.
Unfortunately, this was the one where KITT gets rebuilt with "Super Pursuit Mode". It's shocking how far ahead of its time that show was. Even twenty years later, ricers aren't getting quite that outrageously ugly. For those of you that haven't seen it [or don't remember], Hoff pushes a button, the car's drag coefficient jumps to around 2.50, and it starts going 300mph [which looks more like 80 as the scenery passes]. Take a nicely blacked-out, good-looking T/A and do this to it:      Though I do think the SVX would look cool withgreen LEDs in the pedal...

When I saw the show in it's heyday, I just assumed those extra spoilers..etc...were necessary to hit 300mph. Looking back on it now though it is pretty ridiculous..."I know, we can obtain a much higher speed if we add tons of mass!". Try saying that on the World Challenge circuit and see if they'll let you build a car.
The interior of that car absolutely kicked ass though. A guy on LS1tech took the dash replica (offered by WildCopper Concepts), and adapted it to fit the 4.5th gen TA. Pretty sweet. Everything is functional too...gets alot of attention, but makes the passenger VERY unconfortable. I personally am a fan of buttons and switches. The more the merrier, i always say.
