Smile Just moved to Az.

Hellllllllo All!

It's been a while since I posted last. I LOVE what you did to the site, it's wonderful!

Just thought I'd write and say I'm still alive, or I died and gone to hell!

Well, it's been 2 weeks here in Pheonix. It's pretty nice here, but damn is it hot! I am amased that the 'ol SVX made it here. I feel very bad for taking her all this way, but I didn't have a choice.

I am still in the process of looking for another job. The only leads I have are... DOMINO'S!!!!!! *Trying to erase working 4 years for a Domino's already*

I think once I get a good job, I'll be getting another car.

Am I out of the loop or what? When (and why) did you decide to move to Phoenix?!?
Girl, you need to tell me these things! Last I heard you were trying to sell your car.

haha the only one out of the loop is me.

I moved here, because I kinda don't have anywhere else to go. I needed to get out of Craig bad. I was too depressed there. not like there's a difference here, but I'm hoping I can get better.

I live with Jon, yeah the idiot that I've been with for 2 years now.

I had to move because things in Craig were getting really bad. I wanted to move to Denver, but I didn't have much time or money to think about moving there. So, I upped and moved here. I don't have to pay rent for a few months, just worry about getting a damn job.

I couldn't take that small minded town any longer.

Oh yes, and the X.

Well, I figure no one will buy her in the condition she's in, and I can't fix her up.... So that leaves one thing...........trade her in.

Hot?

Oh..you ain't seen nothin' yet. You'll need these things to survive in Arizona:

1. Nomex driving gloves, the big yellow ones as seen on TV.
2. Burn ointment for the first time you grab your door handle, the callouses will eventually keep the pain down.
3. Tweezers for when you step outta the car into a prickly pear or cholla.
4. Must have one of those cardboard window screen things.
5. If you drive out of town, keep water in the car. <- serious.
6. Sunscreen.
7. If you have leather seats, buy seat covers. Some may disagree on this one, but I didn't enjoy having to spatula my legs off the seat in my brother's car.

I'm sure I forgot something.

Welcome to Arizona. Craig must have been baaad if you moved to Phoenix. I suggest hiding in Scottsdale.

I agree. Phoenix is hell.

I suggest two at minimum. One for front and back, but sometimes the cardboard ones will crease and warp, so those expando ones are decent, too.

If you see this, give me a ring.

Fill in the blanks for me.

It won't be as bad as you think, because it's a _______ heat.

The good news is it will only be around 120 in the shade.
The bad news is there is _________ shade.

Better than Seattle. People in Seattle don't tan, they _________.

Etc., etc.

Oh! That was still an hilarious answer you gave.

It rains all the time in Seattle. They have T-shirts up there that says "People in Seattle don't tan, they rust"
