dont let your car get stolen

cigar jonny's car was stolen as im sure you read. as i was taking a shower i was thinking "i wish their was an inexpensive alturnitive to lojack" it then occured to me. nextel phones are gps enabled and i use them as trackers everyday in my work. its a 80$ phone that you can hide anyware in your car or if you buy a magnit box on the undercarrige of your car. the batery last for three day and you can chech the location of your car with a home computer. the only problem is if the phone looses service it wont work and you do have to charge it once a week but its wourth the piece of mind. ill ask my tech guy where he buys them and i post the info. having you car stolen sucks and alarms dont always work. this way you know where you car is at all times and if you dont want to call the fuzz your more than welcome to go bounty hunter style on their arses (i would sugest calling the cops)

or you could take the car charger, and cut the wires, and hard wire it to your car, and the problem is fixed...

Now take that phone and hide under the passenger seat, in the tray.
After you find out where the swinematingslugeater parked it, go there and wait.
When he comes out to the car, call him, when he puts the altered phone to his ear, activate the 100,000 volt stun gun/phone, that he has pressed to his temple...

This should get his attention.

Oh,yea, if they ask you later... "He fell!"

I suppose you could hide it in the trunk lid. I put my GPS antenna in there, under the lid liner.

that inexpensive alturnitive isn't that good. nextel's signal isn't all that great and if the vehicle was stuck into a place where there is no signal wouldn't you be **** outta luck? peple have tried the magnit box on the undercarrige. heat, bumps, etc could ruin your day. why not just bite the bullet and buy a GPS receiver for $100 and then service with http://www.road.com for $40/month? I'm sure Nextel isn't free and how is the reporting mechanism of Nextel? up to the minute nationwide?
