What has everybody been getting for gas mileage per tank???

I am getting 250 miles per tank (93 oct)...

Non-agressive driving style, with a good mix of city and freeway driving...
The mpg seems pretty bad...
What is everyone else getting per tank???

Since Winter has begun, I've been getting 320-330 miles per tank with mostly city driving (and letting my car warm up for 10 minutes each morning). This is working out to be around 21mpg. During the summer, I'll get about 22mpg in similar driving.

My highway fuel economy hasn't really changed. I still get 25mpg+ on long trips.

P.S. Note that I have 4.11 gears in my SVX.

I don't always fill up at the same place on the gauge, but I'm getting a pretty steady value around 21 mpg on 93 octane (4.11 gearing), all city/suburban driving (posted speeds between 25 & 50). My car hasn't seen the highway in probably the last 10K miles.

Driving like a total maniac with total disregard to fuel economy, I've been getting about 330 before it coughs and sputters and quits. ...so about 300. Lately I've been getting less. I'm gonna have to remedy that. (Removing the lead from my foot is not an option.) These guys getting 350 are making me jealous, but perhaps it's a benefit of driving like a wuss. (Just kidding.)

[edit]Whoops! I meant 330, not 230 as was previously written.[/edit]

I get about 160 only city driving...but i always fill up a tiny bit before the last quarter tank mark. I have never drivin the car untill it was totally empty. 300 miles for city driving is amazing...i wish i had that. When driving in the snow my mileage takes a dive though.

I too have a VERY heavy foot. I've been getting about 240 per tank. 90% driving in the city. My guage says E (empty) at only 200, but I still have three gallons left when i fill up. I'm going to change the fuel filter tomorrow and see if it goes up, or maybe i should take my foot out of the gas pedal a little (naw thats boring!)

i have been filling up when the gas gauge is at the 1/4 tank mark. With this i have been getting around 200 miles per tank average with around 170 for the low and around 240 for the high. it really depends on what type of driving i do, if i do all city then i get from 15-18 MPG, and if i drive on the highway i'll usually get around 20-24 MPG.

This summer I got 30mpg with a city/highway mix. Now I'm getting 21 thanks to the freezing weather.

I mistyped on my previous entry on this thread. I meant 330, not 230. Also, when I drove my car home from Idaho to Seattle when I bought it, I got just over 350 miles. (I wish I remembered exactly, but I think is was close to 365.) It sucked about 17 gallons on that fill-up. I've never gotten better.

Re: What has everybody been getting for gas mileage per tank???

I usually go about 400miles and fill up with about 16+ gallons. Thats an average 24-25mpg. This is non aggressive driving style, mostly hwy driving. And i check my mileage every time i fill up.
