I'd have to take 2 weeks off work and I can't do that in a row.
And I really don't want to drive Penny on a trip like that again. The old girl needs some rest. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Penny there, but it's just really too far to drive, especially by myself.
But I know that I'll have just as much fun without her.

Thats kinda why im hesitant to go....afraid to take the car on a long trip like that...farthest ive gone is 260 miles round trip in one day.

i'd love to, but it's a very long 2-day drive each way and hubby needs to be in tucson on monday. we could always drive to reading and then fly him to tucson from there and i could pick him up at the end of the week.

what is with the fear of driving a high-mileage svx across the country? i'd love to take the claret on a long trip. hubby wouldn't let me drive it to oklahoma city for thanksgiving and i don't understand why. i drive it 90 miles everyday and it is religiously maintained. it has never left me stranded.
