Unhappy right front CV axle

Hi group.

my 92 SVX has a steering problem. When I make steep turns to the right or left, the car begins to vibrate. I showed this to a mechanic shop for regular inspection. He said my right front axle had torn boots and it had to be replaced. Do you think this is reason for such a vibbration when steering the car?

Also, does anyone know any repair shops (cincinnati area) where we could bring a new part and have them 'only' install it?

thanks,
Phal

Sounds like your mechanic is right on.
