Yeah, I noticed that too. Between that and "Night Rider", I'd say this article definitely wasn't written by any kind of car person.

Nice to see Dayle get some free adverts, though.

LOL, no, not a 14.2.........thats hokt up man. I also have to laugh at the guy with the Z. Not so sure he understands the difference between a mechanic and a mechanical engineer.

I personally enjoyed the redundancy regarding the Escort.

You'd be surprised how many people don't know the difference... I tell people i'm going to be majoring in Mechanical engineering, and half the time, they say something like "oh mechanics are cool" or "You're really smart, why aren't you going to college."

LOL, I want to apply my mechanical engineering degree to the automotive industry when I finish it, but I am not gonna work in a shop turning wrenches, even though I can do it pretty well.

hey, its ME! didnt know that they had the article on the internet. the one thing i said that they turned around was that i wanted to get my car into the 9's. i told the reporter that the Easy Street WRX was under 10 secconds but that it was a drag car and not street driven. crazy reporters. and my 1/4 mile time is "hooked up"
