My SVX seemed a little sluggish...
You guys may remember the sluggish feeling I was having with my SVX from one of the accessories... until my electrical problems started. Now my car runs on much smaller load now that my stereo, clock, interior lights, and dash lights no longer turn on (because of the short), my car seems to have much better throttle response. I'm serious, it's a noticable difference. I guess my alternator was bogging down the engine? Does anybody have any theories on why this is? Or do I sound like a liar? I would like my SVX to run this good when I fix the electrical stuff... so any theories guys?
Later, Matt. |

HOw much of you electrical system did you short out??? i'd say that making sure your batteries ground is good would be a number one priority... it might have just been that all along, some people call it the "magic 3"rolleyes: but the wires between battery alternator and ground need to be of good quality, and the ground needs to by on a piece of unpainted metal. I think you should get some other opinions first though, as this could not be even related to the problem.
