I've Got It

With great thanks to Joe, my 10th Anniversary plate arrived today, and it was undamaged!!! Just need to find a good place to mount it.

Please let me know what I owe you all.

Great news Andy. Glad it's OK.

It's had quite a trip. I left it in a glass shop at closing time when posting first. The PO closed early, and I still had it with me when pricing glass for our burgled door. Left it down and forgot it.

Ann collected next day and posted OK.

If you don't do a permanent mount, you can use it as I will when having your car at a show or photo shoot, in place of the standard plate.

Todd passed it on to me gratis, and I am passing to you the same for your New Year's present. You can owe my missus a drink for postage, and would love to meet with Todd and Wendy again. Now you have an excuse!

Joe

Glad to be of assistance gents! I'm thinking these two plates win the most miles traveled award!

Cheers!

You bet, Todd!

They have seen more of Ireland and England and the Channel Isles than most American plates ever will.

Hopefully we can get to meet up before the 15th Anniversary event, but it is a good default to aim for Larry.

Maybe if we can organise a European meet this year or next, some of you US owners can plan a trip to co-incide? Would be a fun event.

The New Year is almost on us, has been rung in Down Under already, so I wish you all a successful and a Happy New Year.

Joe

If our colonial friends start their amphibious conversions soon, they might be able to drive over for the 15th anniversary.

Or if we get this ice age, they could simply drive across the ice bridge.

(Thinking laterally here, if we do get this ice age, will my tranny last a little longer?)

Andy,

Waiting for an Ice Age could be a long term thing. Have you put the extra cooler on yet?

Happy New Year to you and Sandra and the children.
