92 LS parting out

Hey all , been forever since I played here....

I have a 92 LS car I am unfortunately parting out....I was going to fix it with a 5 speed, but I think it needs too much to make it roadable nice.....

So, I have a Good Complete straight body/shell.. Car is a complete runner right now...has a maybe crap transmission...? I have to investigate this weekend...Guy I bought the Car from installed it, and now it only shifts into drive or 3rd....won't let you go into 1-2..? moves good in drive or reverse, so...?

I have a good running engine and Complete harness....with 125k on it...

Car has a set of 17" icw racing wheels with 90% rubber on 215/45/ZR17
Can be seen here on craigslist...

http://eugene.craigslist.org/pts/1616723361.html

I have a set of 10" Subwoofers that are boxed into the corners of the Trunk area very nicely...? Subs are MEANDOG...? generic...? But boxes are very well built....

All interior is there.....

Feel free to call me on any or all parts....Reasonable offers please....
I might be able to deliver if within reasonable distance of Eugene...?

Thanks, John

Re: 94 LS parting out

I have all the listed parts you both are looking for.....I will be parting the car out in 7-10 days....

Do you know aprox. where the ABS relay is hiding on this car...? It is here, but I have not torn into this car yet , so.....?

As far as pricing...? name me something reasonable....

Portland is Close....I am up there pretty regularly....we can work something out on delivery of Parts, or you are welcome to come down and pull them for cheaper...?

Chat soon, John.

Re: 94 LS parting out

I could use a RT to Eugene, let me know when I can come down and get parts.

Does the interior have the woodgrain print, or is it the solid grey?

Re: 94 LS parting out

It would be a shame to part it out if it only needs a transmission. What else is wrong with it other than the transmission?

Re: 94 LS parting out

Sorry, I originally posted this as a 94, per the previous owner....

I pulled the title today, and find it is a 92.....

Reason for parting versus fixing....
Windshield cracked top to bottom on passenger side,
drivers door Window glass broken out by thief..
Paint is Done, clearcoat as well as Basecoat sunbleached.
trans may or may not be done..?
non stock wheels,
non stock exhaust
seats are torn from sun rot....

To make this car a clean runner, I'd have to sink 3500-4500 into it to make it right.....and to re-sell it, I would not re-coupe that cost....?

I do however have a 3:90 5 speed and pedal assembly ready to do an Install
if someone is looking to get one done....?

John.

Re: 94 LS parting out

I'd strip the drivetrain and wait for one to pop up on Craigslist with a bad tranny and snatch it before some hippie buys it for their Vanagon.

What kind of exhaust is on it? I'm interested in the exhaust if it sounds good...

The ABS relay is on the ABS control unit itself, under the cover that says "ABS" on it.
