Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

I guess my first thought was price...since I don't need the glass, it would be better that the seller keep it and sell it separately and I might get a lower price on the doors.

My glass is blue, and the car is green from 1995. I figured I'd paint the doors due to the hard to find color of my car. In fact, the ones on it are the wrong color green :P so the previous owner had trouble finding the same color as well...

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

can you swap sealed glass? If so, I can see why... but some folks might not be all that willing to try to pull sealed glass off the window frames.

If not, it probably wouldn't save you much to have to pay for someone to swap the glass over.

I guess I didn't realize blue tinted glass was so hard to come by.

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

I just meant the actual window glass that rolls up, ot the sealed glass. The color that's hard to come by is the color of the CAR not the glass itself. The green used on my car isn't the typical green on the svx.

The reason I said without the glass (the rollup glass) was that I figured they could sell it separately and I would maybe get the doors a little less expensively...

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

Do you have the stock side skirts? I guess they're not really side skirts in any fashion but the little body cover part there.

Also if its a grey interior the door trim piece on the driverside. right between the frame and where the door is when it closes on the bottom. (Next to the gas and trunk poppers)

Shipped to pa 17019.

Thanks PM me if you'd prefer.

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

Hey, sorry it's taken so long.

BoxerFanatic - my phone is the only camera that I have and it wouldn't upload last week for some reason... Here is a picture of the only tear I could find in the driver's seat. I tried to get my thumb in for reference of size. I don't make it out to where I am keeping the car often and it was late at night so I hope you can see the tear alright.

I do still have the doors, the driver's side has some nasty rust, The passenger's is completely clean, although I will probably keep that as my doors are starting to rust. Does anyone know much about the cost of rust repair opposed to swapping and painting doors, and also the lower door glass?

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

that is pretty small.

my driver's seat is much worse.

This was a picture taken before I bought the car.

The budget is a bit blown at the moment, but how much do you want for the driver's seat, when I do start to get more cash together...

Funny, but my parents, and my brother's family are up there right now, enjoying some vacation at a lake resort... Probably out on the lake right now.

Re: Acquired Parts Car. Anyone need anything?

Here's some pictures... Tried to get some of the parts people requested in here. Send me PMs if I haven't responded to you at all. Still in the process of getting the car to its actual storage location so I am kind of juggling right now.
