back maybe
so i've been absent for quite a bit. what drove me here (pun intended) was that friday the svx was sort of in line for a transplant, but the cost was a bit too much. it was on friday that (after the heater stopped working-a/c died a year ago-) that the mechanic said it wasn't a thermostat. he figured there was an air lock in the system caused by a probably blown head gasket. he also said the valves should be done, and oh yeah, that bearing noise from the front. i decided to arrange to donate her to the local high school. so the next day, as in saturday, i look on craig's list and see this 92 pearly with 170,000 miles, rebuilt trannie at about 140,000, and it's in PA. so now i got my fingers crossed that it doesn't have any major things wrong, as i went up and bought the car. i guess i could have tried for some mundane car to drive. i just couldn't do it.
