Wouldn't there be a Check Engine light popping on? And also the code for it would appear ?

Poor starting no matter what the temperature of the car is usually the case of a broken/failing sensor.

well what controls the ignition, cuzz im having excessive back firing when it has hesitation, no CEL, and no power light is on, im unable to check what the cell meens because when i went to go put one of the two blue wires into the black connecter, the top left 2nd pin wasnt there..... and i did have a CEL for a misfire in cylinder 2, swapped it with cyl. 1 and ran good like it was running with 6 cyl., and no CEL, but still getting a bad hesitation...

What year is your car?

ODB II systems that can indicate which cylinder is mis-firing can't be self read with the blue wires, you need a code reader

ODB I systems, can be self read with the blue wires, but won't indicate a specific cylinder misfire.
