Yes that is correct. I had mine done no charge on my 92 shortly after buying it in 96. I understood it at the time as an "open recall". Since the car was no longer under warranty and they did it for free, that makes sense. I'll have to check my service records and see if I can find it.

According to the NHTSA's site there are no recalls on any years of the SVX.
