mechanic woes

HI all, well i just had a significant amount of work done on the svx and i just got it home and looked under the hood to find the intake manifold cover cracked in 2 places (1 where the dark gray meets the light gray and 1 along the side). My question is should i call up the shop and ask them to replace it? Is this a reasonable/fair request? Just thought i'd ask before i confront the guy. Thanks in advance, chris

If you know for a fact that they did the damage, you absolutely should insist that they make it right. Don't go off on them or anything; just calmly point out the cracks and tell them you'd like the cover replaced.

haha silverspear, no not the metal part. The plastic part with 24 valve Subaru written on it. I just saw that a new one is 150+ from subaruparts! I am going to check the local junkyards for prices....
