Believe me, importing a Skyline is NOT as easy as you think. There is a ton of work to get one federalized, because they need to meet many requirements. If it were easy there would be many more on the roads.

What do you guys think it would entail importing a couple of nice Subie wagons?

You are too young to be investing seriously into racecars but if you are determined to be a racer, get something cheap and beat the hell out of it doing auto-x. You may think you have the physics down but I assure you you'll look back on this time many years from now and realize you had much-to-learn-grasshopper.

Oh yeah I do my furst auto-x tomorrow morning ;DDDDDD

yeah I was thinking about buying another car, I decided against teh skyline anyways but, anywho, there have been a couple of REALLY cheap 300zx, Rx7, 280z ect... for sale, and I was thinking about buying one and competing in that instead of the SVX, because I could strip it and hop it up a little and have a good car to learn in, because I don't want to do that to my svx,yet

Much easier since theres already Subie Wagons in the US. If you're really serious, theres a guy around here that was selling his 95 GT twin turbo Wagon back around January, it might be still for sale. Its titled and on the road and all that stuff.
