code 55

How do you get rid of a code 55 egr temp sensor or circuit,I have replaced the egr valve twice.

Please explain what you want me to look for I already know how to clear codes and this one keep coming back do we have an egt sensor that could go bad and cause the same code it isn't the valve it has been replace twice,also explain what you what me to look for because that web page would not pullup.

I think what he's saying is its not the egr valve itself that is bad but instead the electric sensor hooked up to it.

That may be my problem because my car run great,also the egt sensor is about 60 bucks I will orde one,you guys are great thanks.
