i will hijack this thread to talk about one of my favorite subjects, 928's!!!! (much to Mike's dismay )

i got rid of it because i just bought a house and got married, and didn't have time to maintain the 928 and a winter beater and fix up a house. the 928 sat in the garage all winter unused, while the beater that i drove to work everyday sat out in the snow. i would have to get up extra early to warm it up and clear off the snow and ice - and i don't like getting up extra early.

i wanted one cool, unique car that i could drive all year 'round - the SVX!

the 928 was THE car that i dreamed about since i was 15, and actually being able to own one was an unbelieveable dream come true for me. the handling, the big V8 power, the 12-way heated Recaro-designed seats, THE BRAKES, (and the 'no-muffler, 3-inch exhaust )- too much fun! the best car i'll ever own. i think about it all the time, but when the roads were as crappy as they were tonight, my SVX with snow tires sure seems like the right car to be in!
