Killed a neon today

Went to a friends tonight who lives on a back gravel road. Coming home the one guy leaving decided he was cool and was gonna rev his engine so I took him on a 200 yard straight away. Granted I did put it in 4wd but then again I was driving my BRAT. All hail 73 horses b/c it'll kill a Neon.

What kind of Neon?

I can kill a Mustang GT with my Mitsu Galant. Cobra will leave me in ..... (you can just fill it in).

Hey - that's not an oil leak on the EA82 - that's the dealer installed redneck oil change/underbody rust protection option.

Speaking of Brats; There was a red Brat up at Rafferty Subaru in Newtown Square PA on Sat morn. when I was there. It had a matching red cap over the pick up bed. It looked like it needed some work.

Funny you should mention that. I just spent part of Saturday working 3 quarts of gear oil into the nooks and crannys of my Brat then "circulating the stuff with a nice drive. Still has some drips to it when I park it but as for rust protection you can't beat oil!

That's cool. I have a video I'll be posting in a week or so of Neon2003. There were a LOT of neons running 14 second 1/4 miles with just a few bolt ons. And then there were a few running 13s and 12s with turbos. One ran an 11.6. Full interior.

Heh. I've seen a few VW beetles that had bumperstickers that said:

0-60 in 7.1 minutes

heh
