Easy money for anyone with a PS O-Ring

I'll give $10 for anyone who can send me the cheap little O-Ring for the bottom of the Power Steering tank. I know this is only about $1.50 for the OEM, but nobody seems to have one, and I don't want to give the local dealership jerks any of my money. I'd rather it went to one of you guys.

So, who's gonna help out a frustrated SVXer and make a quick 8 bucks?

You can just go to any local auto parts store and buy a bag of assorted O-rings. The one you need is in there.

I looked at that bag. I was reluctant because they didn't have any sizes on the bag, and the one I need wasn't in their individual selection. Would the correct size not be sold individually, or am I just being anal about the sizing? I've got one that's only 1/64" different width, with a matching inner diameter. Would that work? I just don't want to take my car apart, break the old rotten one, then need to order the correct one anyways. Just picture me needing a rental car while I wait for Subaru to make me a new o-ring and this easy job suddenly costs more than a new PS pump. I just want to get exactly what I need (or confirmation that it doesn't really matter), so I can get this done. I've been looking for a week now, and everybody says this is so easy. Nothing's easy in LA.

I have a brand new one in the bag from subaru part number 062610110 I can drop it in a flat rate USPS priority mail envelope and get it to you. I'm in Sacramento so it should be 1-2 days.

I think we've got a winner!

I know you all think I'm a sucker, but you can't imagine how frustrating it is to try to get this simple part that fits for sure. I don't want to guess and be wrong, so if it costs $10 to be sure then so be it.

Victor: You've got a PM... Or you will shortly... Thanks
