Are there any Physicians in the house?
Do you own your own practice? If so, or you have knowledge of how to I need to ask a question or a few for a project I have due. You will not be doing any work for me..just guiding me in the right direction to do the best I can.
Any information from consultants would be awesome too. Thanks in advance Melis

No doctors here, but i've spent enough time in the hospital that i can probably fake it

I have a project due in 4 weeks. I have to hypothetically be a financial consultant for a doctor who wants to go out on his/her own. Doc makes 500K a year where he is with 4/5 other physicians, but wants to fulfill his/her long-life goal of owning his/her own practice.
He/She has impeccable credit and has collateral of 250K. I need to compile a supply list (check), I need to locate a place of business to rent with ample parking space(check), I need to apply for loans for pretend doctor (Hocrest's sister works in a bank so that will be taken care of) I was hoping to avoid running 20 minutes up to my physician and might have luck here. My supply list is 2 pgs and I believe I can cut costs by eliminating some things, but I don't know what a family practice has as assets besides needles, tubes, and the small stuff a patients sees when they snoop through the draws In short, I have to gather immense information, compile it into a 3 yr proforma, create charts and graphs and advise if it's worth getting on his/her own or should he/she stay where they are.
