Go with the wedgie cupholder my friend. holds 2 cups and a cell phone and is very sturdy.

no wedgie at my wal mart, i'd know if they had it
i read about the wedgie, and it sounds great

how deep are the cup holders, and how wide, will theyhold a good top heavy cup and not pull the wedgie out of the seat?

re: i use the wedge

i use 'the wedge' and i put a 64oz giant cup from quiktrip in it. works great. altho i hold it a little when i take fast turns. when u need it you put it in the passenger side. when u don't put it between the rear seat and the middle column that is your armrest.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
I ahve always been a little leary of those cup holders that attach to the vents. Plastic gets brittle with age and I never liked the idea of suspending any amount of liquid above anything that was electrical/electronic.

But don't despair... I am bringing 5 cases of wedgie cup holders to the Reading meet! With 5 to a case that means I am bringing 25 of these little marvels for those who can't find them.

They are $4.50 each and if you want to have me hold one for you, email me. Otherwise its first-come, first-serve.

(Randy, I still have a couple on reserve for you)

The Wal-Mart up the street from the Subie Dealer in Butler has an ample supply of wedgies. I was just there last night and saw them.

actually i was at wal mart tonight pricing atf fluid, and for a whim, i looked for the wedgie, i found them, they're burried underneath all the other aftermarket cup holders, and consoles and such
so i bought one
it doesn't work in the obs, the seat's not close enuf too the console, it slides down the front, and if i can actually wedge it in there, it's not vertical

just for anyone interested, one of my main projects for this car is going to be to custom fab a built in cupholder, somethign in the dash, that will actually work as a cupholder, even if just to hold a standard based cup, like a coffee cup, or something. if i end up succeding would anyone be interested in having me make them one as well?
