Yes. But wrong timing. IMO. Let's get it over with so that it's all peaceful again...

no... so we can start another one in North Korea.

I am not one to judge this whole thing. I have confidence in the administration. The government and military know a lot more about what's going on than I do. Who am I to make a decision about the war?

I voted undecided because I dont like the timing, or any war in general, but i feel that decisions were made because they needed to be made. Does this make sense?

I am kind of against all the wars in generall. Too much loss of life, and at the end the "bad guys" still survive, or their brothers and sisters, and cousens, and relatives overall...........

I agree with Mike. The government sure as hec doesn't tell us everything. I could go on and on about what I think is a big factor here, but I might tic some people off. So I'm going to keep my mouth shut and say that I've voted undecided.

It makes perfect sense. No one should Like war, its terrible, it is a shame that in this day in age we are reduced to such a thing, But some people just don't respond to anything else. `

No matter how you voted, we are at war. Because of this, we should all stand behind our troops who are fighting for our freedom and show them support. Keep them in your prayers.

I agree with Earl. We are at war so let's forget about whether we support our government in its efforts and support our troops. After we win (It's only a mater of time) we can protest against this president and his administration.

Speaking of support for our troops, I do not like what I am seeing on TV. I do not have the whole story, only what is being reported on TV; but we seem to be holding back our air power for humanitarian reasons. That is commendable of course . However, this could be putting our troops at a greater risk than necessary. It kind of reminds me of the way the politician ran the war in Nam. I sure hope this isn't so.

So let's see.....

We announce to the world exactly when & how we're gonna "off" Saddam.
We allow Saddam to do a graceful exit.
We give the civilian population a bit more time to prepare, than say the Japanese did for us down at that harbor thing.
We spend zillions on smart bombs in an effort to avoid civilian casualties.
We try to take prisoners rather than just lob a grenade in the direction of these "poor Iraqi conscripts".
And when it's all over, we're gonna feed & care for millions, & build
a fresh Baghdad with lotsa' McDonald's. Is Russia gonna build a new Chechnea?

And for all our efforts at a "kindler, gentler" war, the rest of the world peaceniks who ignored Bosnia, Rowanda, Chechnea, Malaysia etc. with ALL the sickening atrocities committed, & let us lead the way to help clean up some of the messes, are now calling George Bush a BUTCHER!!??

And in this society, it's perfectly OK, because we're FREE to call Dubya, or any other leader-dude any name we want to, & not be shipped off to Siberia. Try that in the near, middle & far east. Nobody's gonna protest there when your sorry butt's dragged off to the gator pit.

Anybody watchin' Hollywood's finest kiss each other's asses tonight?
Not me. I already got my yearly nausea quota filled at Summit Point Raceway. At least that was "good" nausea.

Ron (Bunkin' with Archie tonight).

If we win or if we lose.... We can vote on the next admistration..

Can the people of Iraq?

I think that they will have a much better chance at it now than before. If they didn't vote for Saddam, they would have evaporated and never been around to vote again. Vote? Most of them don't know what that word means.

Ron,

I just read your post twice. You qouted part of my earlier post but I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or not. Please elucidate (That's one of Rosie's $10 words).
