Thumbs up Japanese front spoiler

Anyone interested in Japanese mods, have a look at this site, k-staff.net

http://www.k-staff.net/SVX/S4-3237F.htm

The price seems to be 78,000Y, about $700 I think, but I don't know about shipping and the rest. They also have a few nice cars for sale at reasonable money, mostly rhd.

K-Staff are the biggest specialist SVX dealer here in Japan with almost 50 used SVX's for sale. They even have a '94 LHD US model for Y2,980,000 which is about US28,000!! And that is before car registration and tax which adds another couple of thousand dollars.

If anone wants to know about the front spoiler they sell, let me know and I'll make enquiries.

Exclamation Japenese SVXparts

Is there anyway you can inquire about the different types of rear spoilers available? I like the higher ones they
have over in Japan but don't know who to talk to about getting one.

sorry

Sorry to break it to you but all Japense spec accesories are sold out(made in very limited production), the spoilers were the first to go. Sales for SVX's in japan where hirribly sluggish, especially in later years. (then i ask myself, why do the have more tuners?)
later,
phast

Although the Japanese spec accessories were limited production, my local Subaru dealer has said most are still available beacuse of poor sales but in very, very limited quantities. I've ordered a few for myself and they are due at the end of this week.

BOXER engine cover

I received my BOXER throttle body engine cover today from Japan. It hac the same wording as ours in red "4 cam 24 valve 3300" Instead of H-6 in brushed silver letters it says BOXER in highly polished chrome letters with Subaru underneath it in the same bright chrome. It is absolutely stunning! The PN is 14025AA030.

I tried to scan in a picture and put in in my briefcase. The light from the scamnner reflected off of the chrome letters and darkened them, but believe me they are bright chrome. Look at http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/svxcess?e...l=us%26.src=ph

ALCYONE SVX TAIL LIGHT PANEL

I just received my ALCYONE SVX center tail light panel from Japan. The part number is 84251PA000 "R Finish LP ASSY JPN" It is a complete assembly, including all sockets, bulbs and even the foam rubber gaskets! You can see a picture of it in my briefcase at
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/svxcess?e...l=us%26.src=ph

I will have the parts installed by Reading.

If I may be so bold, how much did the cover and tail light assembly wind up costing, after shipping, etc.?

Yes, I just have to...

although I'm reasonably sure I won't like the answer. And neither will Cleo.

Boxer Cover/Alcyone panel

The price of the two items was $395.00 US including their 12.5% commission, air express shipping and insurance.
They shipped the parts from Japan last saturday mornind and I received them today (Wednesday) in perfect condition! (Imagine... halfway around the world in only 4 days... are ya listenin' Subaruparts.com?)

Anyway as a point of reference, the same two parts (US-spec) from subaruparts are $315.00 plus 20.00 groung shipping; 47.00 for 2nd day air.

$60.00 extra is not a lot to pay for something that unique.

Exclamation BOXER cover vs. H-6 cover

After I read about svxcess' new toys arriving, I did a little research, as John did.
Subaruparts.com wants nearly $150 for the US-spec H-6 cover, BEFORE adding shipping. Japanese Direct Import Service quoted me $147 for the unique BOXER cover, SHIPPING INCLUDED.

Amazing!

h6 cover from japan, come with screws?

Just wondering if it came with the screws. I've been missing my plastic (or wahtever) for my throttle body cover after a tranny fix
