6 pot mono block Brembo calliper kit

If I were to just have you do up a set in brembo black is price higher or the same? and if I go 6 front 4 rear replacement rotors and pads for the rear are WRX parts correct? but fronts still not sure if there is a us available pad/rotor part number yet until we figure out the part numbers yes?

If you go with the STi rear 2 pot (not 4 pot) then the rear will be 05-07 STi pads and rotors which are easy to find.

The front pads have part numbers with different brands including hawk, however they are not carried by most suppliers. Same with the front rotors through DBA and brembo. They both have part numbers which work from the different manufacturing companies. I have yet to contact a US DBA and Hawk dealer to see if they can get the rotors and pads that I am going to use, but I don't see why they shouldn't be able to order them if they are dealers with those companies and they have valid part numbers to order.

As for finding a US vehicle that uses those 6 piston front calipers it is almost impossible. One version of the AMG does, however they are very unavailable. GM and Chrysler both use brembo 6 piston calipers however they use proprietary mounting points, not the universal radial mount. The Nissan GT-R also uses the brembo 6 piston brakes however they use different mounting points also.

I've spent the past 2 weeks researching the US market vehicles that use these, and they very not available here. Even the AMG was limited model years and they swapped to a brembo staggered 8 piston caliper (quite unusual to see staggered pistons instead of in a line).

Thankfully going with the calipers from Ford Australia they are still brembo calipers so if anything ever goes wrong with them the rebuild parts are available for them.

This is a pic of the sticker with the part number on it, there are no other part numbers cast on the caliper. The oem ford caliper come in red black the black is rare but in the generic brembo calipers I can get black yellow silver and red

just a little update

i will be getting brackets designed and made up for the US market using the ford mustang shelby cobra GT500 2007-2009 to ease of availability

i can confirm (after buying a set) that mercedes slk55 6 pot callipers are the same as the ford callipers and i believe they are the same part number as the jdm sti brembo 6 pots, if you can find a set then all you need is the brackets i have.

Kit now is $2,760 for just calipers and mounting brackets, price could come down to $660 for brackets plus second hand calipers when and if the become available here.

Ahhh damn, needing 18" wheels is a bit of a breaker. I'd like to stick with 17" for autoX and daily driving. Perhaps I'll rethink this since I have yet to buy anything as of yet. Looking forward to all of the progress.

E, is this the dust shield needed to be installed in the back for the Calipers?
Anything else is needed to make it work on the SVX hub (Hand brake, ABS Sensor, brake lines, etc..)?
