No, seeing THIS svx made me :'(
This is very thin sheet metal, with rough edges, stuck on with double sided tape:
http://i.imgthis.com/7ybb.jpg http://i.imgthis.com/hrM1a.jpg http://i.imgthis.com/eGi6e.jpg (holy schneikies, it's a TURBO!!!) http://i.imgthis.com/tqhpS.jpg http://imgthis.com/image.php?image=iqDG9.jpg http://i.imgthis.com/nf2LK.jpg I've never wanted to light a Subaru on fire before, but this one changed my outlook. The guys at the dealership (where this was) couldn't stop shaking their heads either. The interior shots didn't turn out (crappy cell phone camera), but basically the owner had painted all sorts of quasi-Star Fleet logos all over (the dealership guy said they glow in the dark), and had some piece of fabric on the dash in front of the passenger side attached to the "suede"... it was a crude picture of an equalizer, and just in case you were confused it was labeled "EQUALIZER". I've never wanted to kick a car owner in the nuts so hard before...

Yikes. Reminds me of some of the nightmarish stuff I came across back in the late 70s when I was shopping around for a 60s Mustang.

Re: No, seeing THIS svx made me :'(
the only thing remotely half decent is how the shape of the horns looks on the bonnet (hood)
now if only it were a 3d functional hood scoop they might have been onto something |

Re: No, seeing THIS svx made me :'(
Yeah, it was at the one on Atlantic. Not there anymore though. I was there to order some intake gaskets and when I went back to pick 'em up a few days later the guy said the owner had come and towed it away... with an old Saturn!
It was in there because the owner had steam cleaned his engine... and apparently knew about as much about covering engine electronics as he did about "style".

Ricetacular! Though it has not been the first time for an SVX, this is a rather shining example
