As much as I've heard of people suggesting the "wrong info on my ticket" defense technique, I can't say that I know anyone who's used it successfully.

Happened to my Aunt . she got a parking ticket in NY 110 miles away. she accused her son of taking the car. She protested . Her defense is she was working that day 110 miles away in Conn. and she had the car. Cop wrote a 7 looked like a 1 Car was RED hers was green. I agree it would not work in this case ... although it does not say SVX, but that plate # is a tough one to get by<LOL> Didn't notice what the ticket was for . PARKING.. I would ask if I could have a copy and frame it .

I have on two occasions... Metermaid wrote Dodge instead of Ford on a parking ticket I got in my F150. Then I got a few years ago on my red SVX that had some error on it and I argued and won.

so how much is a parking ticket? I've never had one of those yet (knocks on wood). I've had most of the other tickets though.

I had a parking ticket on my svx.

Problem was the car was in jax and the ticket was in bismarck nd
they mailed me the ticket, they also said it was a station wagon, and they had few other errors. I called them and they dismissed it.

And no there is absolutely no way it was my car. I did used to live in ND. though not bismarck, but I moved 6 months before the date on the ticket.

i laughed it off. the ticket was only $20. the sad part is, the ticket was issued at 4:26, and i was at my car at 4:28!

oh well. and Green1995SVX, i was shopping down on the southside with my fiancee, and lost track of time.

Haha I was driving that same car and a cop pulled me over for not having the license plate on the front of the car (it was displayed in the window) and nearly wrote the ticket saying Mazda instead of Subaru. ....damn

Even though I told the cop that it was on the front (showed her the drilled holes from one of the previous owners) and mentioned it wasn't on securely...she still wrote me a $60 ticket. Now I have a stock license plate holder....it at least covers the holes..
