Coilovers from impreza or legacy to svx???

Is there any possible to fit a coilover setup from Impreza or Legacy to Svx with a little (or not so little) of modding? What are the difference between those?

Try the search button as this has been discussed time and time again... the short answer though is no they will not fit without significant modification.

P.S. Welcome to the site.

Re: Coilovers from impreza or legacy to svx???

Thanks, Sicksubie.

Ok, I will try search.

I talk to my local rally-part dealer about a year ago when I bought my svx and he suggested that they maybe could do a coilover setup for my svx, they do custom suspensions for rallycars here in Finland. At that time I cannot think that because I had another project what took all my money and time but now I have sold it.

Now I have done some searching and decided that it would be maybe easiest (and maybe only) way to get a coilover system to my svx if the done it. First I have to call him about how much that will cost and I think that I must get a whole set of oem dampers to him too.

The problem for now is that finding oem dampers here in finland is probably impossible because svx is so rare here, but I try to find.

And sorry my bad english for now and future

coilovers are possible but you need to be able to make/ assemble them yourself. You can purchase Koni strut insert and Ground Control springs and spring perches and end up with

Aragosta used to make coilovers for the SVX and marketed them through Japan. They were a Netherlands company, but apparently are now a Belgium company. Since you are in Europe, you may be able to check them out.

Or you could get some Koni's, and buy some $38.00each QA1 400 front 10", and 300 rear 12" springs and just make it happen.

Hmmm, after seeing the video in the post below this I'm quite interested in more info on this. Searching for 'qa1' only brought up this thread though.

Any more info to provide?
