Re: tranny oil and cooler help?

Transmission I would use a good synthetic Mercon III atf, the differentials I would use a synthetic 75-90W or so gear oil.

The transmission cooler you can search the threads about that one.... theres a lot of good suggestions, you just have to do a little footwork.

Re: tranny oil and cooler help?

If you don't mind spending the extra money, I'd suggest using Redline synthetic ATF in the tranny and their synthetic gear oil in the differentials. It goes for $8 to $9 a quart, but it's not like you'll be changing it every 3 months.

I've been using their motor oil exclusively in my '92 since I got it. As with my last ride ('95 Taurus SHO), oil consumption goes down and the stuff barely changes color between changes.

If your car doesn't have one now, I'd suggest getting the Subaru add-on external filter kit from Subaruparts.com. If there was room for an external spin-on, like B&M's, I'd use it, but this is a decent alternative.
