Thats a high RPM for that vac. it should be closer to 20... Either way if the AFR is good at idle and through various other conditions it should be OK.

I think there could be a leak, but I will be checking in a few minutes when I go back to the garage. I can get you EGT readings then too if you want.

how are you getting 23 inches of vacuum under load? you should be going positive with the s/c
I'm running 20 inches of vacuum at idle with my in/ex cams (non stock).

Sorry... That was while moving and letting off the gas but I realized that vacuum should fluctuate with speed and engine rpm

BTW that should also be closer to 25"... My new gauge only reads PSI + and - so our comparisons are not really worth much anymore.
