Yeah, if you want to sell your left kidney to get it. For 5500, you could get an SVX with about that mileage.

If it's as clean/rust free as it looks, that's not a bad price. Supply/Demand... there are a whole lot more SVX's than there are rust free Brat's...

Geez, mine looks alot nicer by those pics, and I picked it up for 1800 last summer. In the PNW I see alot of Brats like that or better for less then 2500...price seems much too high for me. I do agree though, I do see Brats listed at some pretty high prices sometimes, but I still see way too many "moderately" priced ones around that seem to be in pretty descent shape.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/car/584093377.html

needs work, but looks great:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/car/581505461.html

another not too bad, just a couple pics...
http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/car/584347274.html

Last week there where about 4-5 others up between 800-2500.

I just wish I could find more XTs or XT6s out there in good shape. Around here they are sooo rare now

All those are out west, were rust free old Subarus are plentiful...this one is on the EAST coast, were rust free Brats are VERY rare....thus demanding a higher price....I think his price is a "little" high, but not that bad ...

I can recall seeing only two clean Brats in these parts in recent years, but that's two more than the SVXs I've seen.

Ah, you need to look a little harder. They are out there
http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/589298198.html
This one has been on CL for over a year now.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/car/587534084.html
This one is overpriced for the condition its in.

There used to be a black 89 XT6 on CL. It will probably be posted again soon.
No one wants to pay the $3K he wants for it, but its veerry nice.

Yeah I remember that one, black with black rims...I swear he had it down to 2700 once...not sure, but it was pretty well taken care of.

Drat you beat me to it. Heck my motorcycle is rusting away thanks to the salt levels I intake on it in the winter. Seems a little high but not that bad and I'm sure it will sell in the high 4s low 5 range.

Thanks for backing me up Ben....
I think the Brat i have is probably nearly as sold as that one, and it still has the original paint, where that one doesn't (which probably means it's already had some repair work done)
And I'd sell mine for about $3500....with only 100k on it, and brand new tires on Alloys........
