The wheels were mounted with tires but then dismounted.

They have 0 driven miles on them.

question is, were they dismounted because the 8.5" rim was too wide with the wrong offset?

I have been there, done that...225-40-18s are going to look very narrow on the 8.5"W rim.
255-35-18 will look right but crash the stock fenders with that offset.

They were for a STi. They were never mounted on a SVX. So idk
I posted them here cuz I knew they were the same bolt pattern.
