I regularly have the soundtrack from "Conan, the Barbarian" in my player. That and Republica. The soundtrack from the first STAR TREK movie(V-GER) sounds great too.

Iam sure this would raise an eyebrow, I love listening to heavy metal/rock when cruising, at the moment system of a down, but while racing I love listening to up beat techno. I am with motorsport, garbage is good! Anything from the gran tourismo II soundtrack is good

Oh my. That is good. I haven't had a copy of that since my Navy days when I wore out the cassette.

For cruising I like:
Handel (just about anything)
Wagner (esp. Tristan und Isolde, Lohengrin, Die Walkure)
Bach (organ muzik - sets a mood)
The Ventures (anything)
The Bleach Boys (ditto)
Queen (again - but especially Bohemian Rhapsody)
Keith Green
Phillips, Craig and Dean
Phil Keaggy
James Gang
Canned Heat
Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Jethro Tull
Kansas
Ray Boltz
Leslie Phillips
The ChiLites
Andre Crouch and the Disciples

. . . and on, and on, and on . . . and not necessarily in that order . . .

I knew shouldn't have posted to this thread.

Okay, we gotta do lunch soon. I'll play Bebo for you. He's kind of a "folksy" Contemporary Christian artist. You'd like 'im.

As for the rest of your list, I've got nearly every artist you mentioned in my car right now. I can't understand that. You're MUCH OLDER than me.

Mitch, I have that soundtrack and listen to it often.

I have "Handel's Greatest Hits" a collection of Wagner and a "various artists" Classical CD.

I have Sonic Flood, Newsboys and Third Day

I have Jewel, Lisa Loeb, Enya and Sarde

I have Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin and James Taylor

I have The Ventures, 20 Years of the Beach Boys and "The Greatest Hits of 1955 and 1956" and 1967's Greatest Hits

I have Styx, Boston, Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Eagles, Doobies, Steely Dan, ELP . . .

I have the "Big Bands of the 30's" and "Big Bands of the 40's"

I have Miles Davis, Chuck Mangione and Dan Fogleberg/Tim Weisburg.

The closest I get to country is Skynrd, Allmans, CDB and Poco -- oh, I have one Don Williams cassette.

I have the Woodstock CD's and and the three disc Simon and Garfunkel collection.

Those are just to name a few. I like to consider myself "diverse."

Oh, and when my son rides with me, I occasionally get to listen to System of a Down, POD and others.

My daughter likes to listen to etherial music, such as enya, Celtic tracks and compilations called "Deep Forest" which melds chants and songs from primative African and South American jungle tribes with "modern" music (of course, this is "old" stuff that I turned her on to and she loved it).

Okay -- I'm finished . . . for now.

I'm a big fan of electronic music.. primarily trance and drum & bass when i'm driving. However there's a song that makes my speakers sound amazing.. it's by the Executioners featuring a couple guys from Linkin Park, and even though I hate Linkin Park with a passion, it's a downright fantastic song and the bass and drums sound perfect through my speakers.
