How come it takes the Bugatti Veyron 8 turbos to get up that fast, but only takes VW two?

Veyrons have 4, and since when did more turbos = faster car?

This is not as fas as the Veyron in any way shape or form. It would lose in the 0-60 by around a second I believe and get crushed by a good 51 MPH in a top speed competition. Also as it has already been stated the Veyron is a quad-turbo not a octa-turbo

Ancient Nazi secret.
I gotta say, VW can make fast cars. I had a couple of Scirocco 16V's and they were crazy-fast. The were probably not only as fast as my SVX but also as expensive to repair.

Your Scirocco was slower than an svx and you call it crazy fast? Ever been in a 9-second car? Almost soiling yourself while blazing up to 135mph in a quarter mile is crazy fast.

I'm not saying it was a 9 second car. I've owned a few cars that were 10-11 second cars, my fastest being a Camaro with a 327 4bbl. What I mean is that VW can squeeze a lot of low end tourqe out of a very small power plant. For an engine with the displacement of a bottle of soda, it was very fast right off the showroom floor. I love my SVX but I know my 86 Scirocco 16v was much quicker stoplight to stoplight and got about 35mpg to boot. My SVX is a superior car as far as comfort and drivability so I guess for everything you gain you have to give something up.
