Is it just me, or does it look pretty much like everyting else in the parking lot, right down to the stubby, center-mounted antenna? Absent the logo, I would have guessed Mazda.

I'm often struck by how the SVX looks parked next to other cars, how much lower and sleeker and different. That's one thing I love about my cars.

Compared to the Impreza (pick any year), the old Justy looks clean and refreshing. But hey, I always liked the looks of my boxy GL wagon. Subaru should start an 80s retro trend and get back to that.

Exactly my impression.

This is gonna take some getting used to.

It is somewhat a relief, I was thinking Subaru would come out with a new WRX that would make me want to trade the 06. No worries there!

Of course this is the usual reaction to a new model intro from Subaru lately. The 2002 WRX design was greeted with much throwing up in the mouth too, and now it's the beloved "bugeye."

Still....too much Mazda for me.

To tell you the truth I kinda wish I opted for a used 2006 Legacy 2.5i 5 spd. I like my impreza but the legacy is worlds better.

if you look at nasioc a lot of people are saying its a good photoshop. I really don't think that is exactly what it is going to look like, maybe the outline but if you look at the grille the left and right sides are the exact same size even though we are looking at it at an angle and the left should be smaller than the right. there are a bunch of things that just don't look right in that picture.

looks like we are doing this all over again... I seem to recall the same comments when the 06 imprezza was released... yet idiots everywhere still bought them in the masses. They will continue to buy them regardless of their hideous looks. Subaru never made a purely attractive car since the brat

How to destroy brand loyalty, and easy 6 part recipie.

1. Combine ford focus grill, cowl, hood, and bumper, Mazda 3 series hatchback roofline, doors, rear quarters and rear windows.
2. Strain Tribeca until all ugly parts have been separated - discard usable design cues.
3. Sift approx 600 lbs of remaining tribeca fuglyness into bowl while mixing.
4. Simmer marketing team intellect in saucepan until heavily reduced, discard entirely.
5. Hire 15 crack monkeys, gouge out thier eyes, and have them reassemble from mixing bowl and analyze.
6. Bake until unsellable, season with boost to taste.

Better start hording your parts, folks, FHI may be on its way out.

i didn't - i still think its ugly.

i like the old-school 22B-style WRX, the bugeye, and the 04/05, but after that.... <vomit>.

the current Forester is horrible, too - looks like a sleepy retard.
