K&n

I looked for filters on the message board but I couldn't search for K&N filters. It was telling me too short of a word to search. Anyways I looked through all the filters post and couldn't find a website where I can order the K&N filter for the SVX. Part number would be nice too. Thanks.

p.s. - I refuse to go to PepBoys by me. They've tried to rip me off everytime I'm there. One time I saw the guy put oil in my car that I didn't buy and I ran into the garage yelling at him pointing at the unopened case of Mobil 1 i carried in from the store.

The part number for the filter that fits the SVX is 33-2031-2. Just find some place online that sells K&N filters and see if they have that one listed. I think I bought mine from Summit Racing.

carparts.com has it, although $52.99 seems expensive to me. Try searching on Yahoo or Google for places that sell K&N products. The SVX airbox is similar to a lot of other cars (particularly nissan) so it should not be that hard to find.

K&N's website should have a list of retailers.
BTW, it's the same size as the '93 Legacy filter.

Have you checked out www.racesearch.com? They seem to have the largest catalog on the net. Large variety, easy to search. Prices are somewhat competitive, Not as good as some specialty(I usually am looking for Mopar Performance parts, they not to bad, help me to know if I am getting a deal elsewhere) shops.

Did you try local pepboys. I think they stock them there too. if want it that badly. Not sure about the cost... Does it improve the preformance or gas milage?

its really hard to find parts that will fit when they dont mention that it fits on the svx

Try, performanceproducts.com they have filters there for like 41 bucks or something. i'm pretty sure.
