because they used a clear coat on the radiators to get them to shine like they did. The fluid stained the clear coat and I shouldn't have to take it down to the aluminum and polish it. This is not my fault and I am not going to spen 10 hours stripping it, prepping, polishing and clearing it again.

As you well know, we did deal directly by message with a PWR representative and the only solution they offered for all of the problems was the radiator cap without ears. We were expected to deal with all of the other poor craftsmanship issues.

So, was the second batch OK? Or were both batches tainted by poor craftmanship?

I think I got one from the second batch. I had no trouble with the fan shroud fit, and the rad cap fit ok too, after human stupidity was isolated (read: I left the cap from the bottle of coolant in a place that caused the hood to not close properly and didn't notice at first).

The only thing that was a tight fit were the pins on top for the mounting brackets. A little muscle got them to fit, no drilling or any other nonsense.
