On the rear diff, I think that's a pretty common occurance. I've destroyed three of the four I've taken out.

I'm actually thinking of guaranteeing all the bushings I'm getting made to outlast the car they're on.

Better plan on stocking a few because I plan to keep my cars until I die of old age.

Here are the photos. I purposly did not shrink them so everyone can see them in detail.

A few notes:
1. This is the driver's side, the larger hole is at the front of the car.
2. The holes are not concentric. The front is in about an inch further than the rear.
3. Both bushings are doubles. Metal, rubber, metal, rubber, metal.
4. Since the holes are not concentric, some pivot is mandatory during travel.
5. The lips of the bearings are on the insides, facing each other.
6. This may be a bigger project than it looks.

Some Measurements

Here is a spreadsheet listing the bushing specs that I have access to.

The Control Arm and Trailing Link are measurements of used parts after being removed from the housing.
The Lateral Link and Rear Diff bushing measurements are from brand new, never installed units.

The Carrier measurement is the ID of the frame each bushing presses into.
