A really big hammer . . . Oh, did you want to be able to reuse it?
Depending on how far in it broke off, you might be able to grab the end of the key with a narrow pair of needle nose pliers or diagonal cutting pliers (aka dikes). Or, maybe use a straighened paper clip? Good luck,

1.Try tapping it while holding it upside down to drop out the key
2. Try a strong magnet while tapping 3. Use a coping saw blade ( blade only) It's small enough to slip in enough to grab the key, make sure the teeth are facing out when inserting. As you pull it out, the teeth will grab the key. Keep trying, patience. 4. Bring it to a locksmith 5. buy a new ignition switch 6. Good luck! |

How about a medium sized finishing nail with a drop of crazy glue on the end of the head? Hold it against the end of the key for a few seconds and pull straight out.

All of the above are good
I had to do the same thing on an Isuzu Trooper. Tweezers magnets and shaking it finally worked. Don't get impatient.
