Falken Ziex, on stock rims, with stock size.
So far, excellent all round, and very excellent in rain and snow.
used to have Dunlop SP5000's, the Falkens are a better.
FYI, I have not really used them in much snow, but some.

I really like the tires alot, but of course I'm a dork for new technology... (tires made by robots)

when I bought the car it had kuhmo ecsta supra's or some such on it.... I was told at the store that they were good tires, and they were less than the pirelli's but, buy what you like I say, or else I'd still be driving my ford ranger everywhere...

I've just recently purchased the Pzero Neros in stock size (100.00 each from Tire Rack) and I'm totally in love with them.

Andy, check out the new Michelin PS2 tires. I have a set on my other car. Can't say enough good things about them. Great grip, fantastic feel and lighter than most tires in its class. A huge leap over the Pilot Sports. Tirerack's most recent test places them above the Goodyear F1.

Test Results

Significant Technical Input
Food for thought

I personally wouldn't consider any reviews where the owner has less than 10-20k miles on them. Almost all new shoes feel so much better than the worn out tires they replaced. What happens after the tire's mid-life has passed is what you're really going to love/hate.

Just like JD powers initial quality survey, who cares if a car is perfect for 1000-5000miles? How about 50k+!?

I'm considering the Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S also.. if only I could find someplace locally that sells them. I hate to pay $100/ea (tire rack, 225/50-16) + $40 shipping plus $20+/ea to mount them when if I could buy them locally they'd mount for free.. Sears is supposedly a Pirelli retailer but the one here says they can't get that model.

www.discounttiredirect.com

free shipping, and intaller locater (not free install, but cheap)

but you're bound to be able to find a little mom and pop place that'll throw some tires onto rims and balance them for 10 bucks or so.... fortunately for me there is a discount tire about 3 miles from my house, I like to drop and make them check my air for free.

Skip

btw, if Giorgio Giugiaro drove an SVX, I bet it would be on Pirelli

I had the AVS Sports. They were awesome, far too good for my driving ability.

I dunno, I think they were made in malaysia or china or... now mine are Champiro's, very low price wheel for a nice quality. won't need more than that wheel over here (especially that the SVX is a four wheeler)
