any advice on a car for me then since the SVX doesnt seem to be for me? i dont race (anymore) and just need a daily driver thats got some power.

I think you may be focusing too hard on the negatives, my SVX has treated me quite well. The one i bought has a mysterious history so im slowly fixing it up to where i want it, if you get a well treated one you are pretty much set as long as you do regualr maintanance. Test drive one, see what you think then make your decision, its an excelent car and its always good to see one get a good home.

I feel the same way ...my car definitely has it's quirks and there's some things that I am NOT happy about, but that's because of the way the car was taken care of before I got it.

She's been good though ....she made it from NJ to FL and Back again .....putting on a grand total near 3k miles in a week.

She takes me from home to school (about a 2hr drive - 110 miles) almost every other weekend flawlessly.

So for a daily driver I must say my 12-13 year old SVX has acted like a brand new car for me with no worries. If I want to go some where I just hope in and drive it. After my trip to florida I feel good having to drive that two toned 12 year old beauty everyday. She's a blast to drive on the highway that's for sure
