CV joint
I have a 92 SVX LS-L with 93,000+. we've got a problem. When I turn the steering wheel, it feels/sounds like it's slipping or jerking. Years ago I had a similar problem and it was the boot which was torn and had to be replaced.
l/ What does this souund like to you guys and 2 Does anyone know a place where it can be repaired without paying an arm and a leg? Thanks. Marlene |

Hi, welcome to the site! A question like this should be posted in the Tech section for more people to see.
The probable cause of your symptoms is a bad power steering o-ring. If you search the forums and the how-to's you will find an endless supply of information about this pesky o-ring.

Yeah sounds like a power steering problem. I doubt it is CV joint. Bad CV joints result in a knocking or clicking noise when turning the wheel.
