The Official Post Reno 2004 thread

Well, the Reno meet went off with a few glitches, but all in all things went very well. The drive around Lake Tahoe was very fun as well as the Mountain touring done on the way back. I'm so very sure that Pics and Vids will appear in the next few days.
So to everyone that was there, nice to have met you all and this was the best time I've had in a great long while. Now time for the thank you's and comments.

Michelle- Thanks for all the planning despite all the confusion.
Michelle's tool Chris- Thanks for the laughs and good times
Dustin- I won't even go there
Aly- great that you made it, and good to see you again in the same week, take care
Mitch- Thanks for the laughs and good times as well
Ron- Nice car, ditch the wheels but keep that paint nice.
Matt- Get short quick
Wes- Keep it real and thanks for being Mr. Caravan Leader
Garrett- Good to finally meet you and make sure to hit up the next meets

Finally Dayle- Thanks for making the meet. Good to finally meet you. Also, thanks for the accent lighting. Now all I need to do is find a place for them.

If I forgot anyone, this ones for you.

Thanks for the fun.

Peace,
Keith

I must say that I had a killer time at my first meet. Some cars were nice, and some cars were messy. But everyone was definitely fun. I just wish I was 21 for some good times in Reno...

Mitch - I need to get those vids from you. Good idea on "owning the road", by the way.
Dayle - My email is on the way. Also, did you get any video of the action at the parking lot for the ski resort?
Michelle - Thanks!
Keith - Nice exhaust.
Dustin - Thanks for the room.
Jason - Where'd you go? BTW, I didn't mention anything to you about wheels.
Matt - Thanks for the badge.
Ron - Thanks for the fun drive up to Reno.
Wes - Thanks for leading the way home.

Earl - Where the hell were you?!

Anyway, the meet was extra fun. The Tahoe tour was a blast. Looking forward to the next meet, for sure.

Ha ha! I'll be sure to wear my steel tipped boots! If we're goin' to dance, need to make sure I'm wearing my dancing shoes...

So yeah, RENO....it was a fun time glad to see who everyone was. I think we set some records...

Most people stuffed in a hotel room for a meet.
Most Distance Traveled by a pair of SVX.
Most Distance Travelled at illegal speeds.
Most Cars Passed by a pair of SVXen.

140mph!!! Cool. Four of us had it up to almost 100mph on 395 until my radar detector went off. Then it was a quick run down to 70mph.

I am not aware of anyone getting kicked anywhere. Let alone in the mansack.

I posted some pics in my locker:
http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/user.php?nordique14|18644

I reduced them in size to make them faster loading. If anyone needs an original size shot, let me know.

The meet was great! We had some people come only on Friday and some people who could only show up for the drive on Saturday. I was nice to meet everyone. I think we had people from at least 6 different states. And these states on the west coast are friggin big states. It took some people a long time to drive to Reno.

I will post more later, but I should get back to work sometime today...

Matt
