Lound whining noise (Steering problem?)

When I first start my car up it has a loud whine. I know im due for a timing belt, but i dont think thats the problem. The wine goes away after driving for awhile at idle, but when i turn it still whines and felt like it was shaking the other day. I know somethings wrong with my steering, but its sound horrible. Any idea's?

If the fluid level is OK air is probably entering the system and causing the relief valve to chatter.

First to check is the ÔOÕ ring. Refer how to section for details on this easy fix. Even when there is no visible fluid leak air can be entering at this point.

Next check all fluid lines and connections for leaks. From there on you are into deeper water.
