Question Rear Wiper Shroud

When I look in my rear view mirror I can see a slightly ugly aluminium shaft coming up from the rear parcel shelf and through the rear window to the wiper. This is obviously the main shaft oft of the wiper assembly but it looks nasty. I imagine I'm missing a piece of plastic shroud that covers this shaft. Am I right and if so where can I get one.

Yes there is a plastic cover that snaps in place to cover the wiper shaft.

The part number for the tan/beige cover is 86538PA000DO and should run you about £5.3 ($8.98 US)

It is No. 15 in the attached diagram.

svxcess,

Thanks for that, that's a huge help. I'll try my local Subaru dealer to see if they can get me one though I'll probably need to take out another mortgage for it.

SubaruParts.com are out of the question as they want $25 for shipping.

Chicane,

I'll probably do what you did, bide my time and get a cheap secondhand one off eBay or perhaps someone breaking an SVX in the UK.

Cheers.
