Hey don't laugh!
I/m sort of new at this SVX thing. BOY DO I LOVE THIS CAR! I don't know which one I have LSI or what ?????? It is 92 AWD claret How do I find out which model it is.

If you have a 92, it came in a LS-L model. The LSi model started in 1994 and after. That is the touring package. This is a good site for you to get lots of information on the SVX. Happy reading!  http://www.cars101.com/subaru_svx.html

You could also have the SVX without the LS-L package (touring) which would not have leather, electric seats, sun roof, heated mirrors, CD player etc. If you do have those options, you have the LS-L, if not the LS.

the CD player and the sunroof (and maybe some other options) were available as options on the L and LS models if someone wanted them. But having all of those previously listed options (power drivers seat, heated mirrors, etc.) together would mean a 92-93 has the touring package, or the 94-up is an LSi.

In 1992, there were 3 options on the LS model.
1) CD player with 6 speakers 2) Engine block heater 3) Spoiler Yours could have been stock as an option.

Thanks guys,
It appears that I have the LS-L. NO POWER SEAT/ it does have a moon roof ( that does not open - YET) and leather (suede) seats. A previous owner mucked up the dash with a CD player leaving a gap above it. The player is great so I will live with the gap. I will be fixing what I can ($) a little at a time. This is a great car!

The leather suede sounds like a LS model. The CD player must not be stock by the sound of it either, and the non electric 8 way seat makes me more sure it is an LS. Do you have the heated mirrors? Probably not.
