Unhappy Re: wanted asap radiator syd reigon

My top tank split on the freeway between Sydney and Newcastle about 19 months ago. I tried patching it - there really is not a product strong enough, as the top tank takes a lot of pressure.

I ended up getting a PWR radiator core custom installed. Expensive, but it will last forever.

When your radiator fails, there really is no other solution than replacement.

This suck, I know.

I am heading down to my SVX now, to try to get it going again and get it home safe.

Then take the cap off and jam the little valve in the center, open with a small piece of wire ,so that it will not build pressure. Drive easy till you replace it.

Re: wanted asap radiator syd reigon

Strange that it will take a few weeks. I had mine from www.partstrain.com, fully landed for under $400.00 in 2 weeks! Perfect fit like an original where Subaru quoted over $2000 and 2 months wait!
