Svx The King In Snow

I am new to the forum. But I was in disbelief tonight. I was driving home in a huge snow storm with about 5inchs of snow on the road! To make things even better. I live where there are some major hills! The hills here are so bad that snow plows have a hard time going up them! My SVX went up them in FWD! Just another glorious moment for the SVX. I had to share this moment with someone! THANKS,
THE PERSIAN

my SVX was awesome in the snow with cheap snow tires. there was never a steep hill i couldn't climb in that thing. i had slightly narrower snow tires than stock.

the LGT hasn't been really tested yet - i have Blizzaks on it, but they are stock width (didn't have the narrower size when i went to get them ). still waiting for that big snow .....

We don't get much snow here, but it has been trying to for the last two days.

It has always been my plan to have a spare set of winter wheels which would have narrower M&S tyres fitted. The SVX would travel most roads on them!

Joe

Wink I love the snow

I truly love the snow in my svx. it has the stock width tires on it but i tell you what. it has no issues in the snow really. i have to pull in and out of my yard this winter in 5 6 inches of snow and it'll just power on through it. i do need to get some snow tires that im runnin street tread with z rated tires. not to smart but i tell you what thow. it does perfect 360's. i love drifting around in the snow too. in the little town i live in un utah. they plow the roads like once a week so every one drives truck's except me. I love my svx. it's a champion verse any car i have had.

The only part in the SVX that isn't condusive to good handling in the snow is the big nut behind the wheel; it seems to constantly cause the vehicle to take turns too quickly or brake too hard. If you adjust it right, however, it can make parking lot powersliding a blast!

SVX+snow = absolute awesome. I'm doing some snow racing tomorrow and Sunday in the SVX, which should be a blast.
