just say no to the mesh. i had two FIAMM "Freeway Blaster" horns in my SVX. there were mounted on either side of the car - one near the ground below the battery, one on the other side behind the headlight. not much room, but they fit, and they were probably bigger than the Supertones. i think they were rated at 130dB, but i never checked to see at what distance. they were still better than the stock horns and they were cheap, but definitely not as loud as the Hellas.

You can probly mount them in the fender. If not then Im sure you could make them work in the lower part of the front bumper where all them usless air vents are
Im quite sure you heard my horn at Reading. Pulled fromk an 89 cadillac fleetwood, the horn now has some balls to it. Not a whole lot louder, but the tone is much better than stock
