I think that color would real great on the car with black roof+trunk with tinted windows.

That color is hot. With or without the black top and trunk.

I think blacked out would look "hotter".

Nice wheels in the pic too.

heres something I and another non-forum-in-my-town-svx-owner-person noticed today. If the car has a sunroof, the roof looks best in black. the sunroof's seals kinda inturupt any color with that nice rectangle. MmmMMmm..rectangley

If you do go with the black roof and no black on the trunklid, I think a decent window tint may be in order. good luck with the car, and have fun in the twisties (even more fun with suspension work )

P.S.-Welcome to the site

Thanks for the input, I think I'm still going to go with black roof and grey trunk, however I'd like to agree and say that YES it will be tinted, and tinted nicely =) It is right now even, but its not looking its best. Its doing the cheap-tint color flop to purple =( =( =(

I'll be trying to get a slightly colored tint actually, not anything ricey like what they sell at autozone! I'm going to try for the lexus/infinity copper/green looking pearl tint... welll see how easy it is to find.

I'm also going to do in black "SVX" on the plastic peice right behind the rear window, I've seen it a lot and I think doing it in black will break up that awkward forward angle that peice has and look nice...

Also... thinking about tinted tails (toss up right now) and the center grill piece in black or body color. I've seen plenty of painted grills, but has anyone tinted the tails on a SVX? Pictures? I've photoshoped it but Its not the real thing, ya know.

Tinted tails are illegal in most states, I do think they would look good on your car though. That anthrecite is an awsome color though, and welcome to the network!

The color you are going for is the hotness.

Eh... if you ever go to a meet...

you might not want to bring a cat...

apparently. :/
